Our Story
Hi! Thanks for stopping by, we are Sal and Sean, and we are happy to welcome you to our real-life story. Sal grew up at the Jersey Shore and Sean on the Long Island shore. One day, 9 years ago, Sean decided it was time to move to the Jersey Shore and thank goodness he did because that is where he met Sal one warm spring evening. There was instant connection as we chatted over a warm brownie sundae. From that evening on, we have never left each other's lives. We have celebrated many milestones, such as purchasing our home, spending countless hours working beside each other to renovate the home, traveling the globe, getting engaged, visiting the beach, getting our kitty cat, planning a wedding, getting married, and finally deciding to grow our family. We are so grateful to have you be a part of the most recent chapter of our real-life story.

Family Life
We share traditional family values with the support and love we express with each other, our family, and friends. Traditions each of us had growing up and continue with today include sharing family time at the dinner table, working together to complete necessary chores, and collaborating to make a family decision.
Communicating the risks and rewards in life will be used to guide our children into becoming respectful, grounded individuals.
Faith comes from within each of us and that is not to say we would avoid religious practice or exploration should our children have an interest. We were both raised to observe the Christian Holidays. As a family we will share Easter and Christmas and teach the meaning of these holidays.
Pets have always been in our lives. We both had dogs and cats growing up. Sean had hamsters and fish. It is a fond childhood memory to win a goldfish at the fair and have it waiting at home for a cheerful welcome. Currently we have one cat named Jazz. He is old, lazy, and loves to be pet.

Lifestyle
We like to plan weekend adventures to see new sites, shop at the mall, and get together with friends and family. Lately we have been binge watching some movies and shows on Netflix and On Demand. We are redoing our basement to make a family room for even more cozy movie nights ahead.
Our home is in a quaint town along the Jersey Shore where there are lots of activities during the summer and plenty of festivities during the Spring and Fall. Strolling through the aisles of a local farmers market or craft fair always makes for a relaxed Saturday afternoon.
During the summer it is our tradition to spend Sunday afternoons at the beach. Toes in the sand and soaking up the sun. Digging holes and building sandcastles happen every now and then too!

Adoption
We want your child to know you and we both support an open adoption. If you are comfortable we would love to maintain open contact. We would welcome the opportunity to have yearly visits and as your child grows we would be open to telephone contact.
Diversity is extremely important to us. From the beginning we will be a diverse family given the fact that we are going to be two loving dads instead of one! Our families love and support us for who we are. We are excited to experience even greater diversity as we grow our family. Part of our traveling the globe, has a allowed us to meet and interact with people of all walks of life, as a result we have experienced different cultures and lifestyles and understand all cultures flourish on love. No matter what, we intend to incorporate all walks of life into our family routine, we celebrate different ethnic holidays, we attend cultural festivals in NYC, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New Orleans, just to name a few. We taste foods from all around the world, we research and attend cultural worship events, we wear clothing from around the world, we read books about people and places we don't see every day.
