Our Story
Hey there! Its a pleasure to have you come and read our profile.
We are Andrew and Courtney. We had the pleasure of meeting the very millennial way...online! We were both on this obscure site called Coffee Meets Bagel back in 2018. In fact, we did a breakfast themed engagement party as a toast to our roots. We were married in October 2020. We are a family-oriented, active couple who are looking to share our joy with children.
Family Life
Family is everything to us. We are both from tight knit families and love that our parents, siblings, and extended family frequently join together to share holidays. There is no "in laws" for us, just family. Our clan extends to our dog Sicily. She is a fun loving fast paced pointer that enjoys all things outdoors. We enjoy weekly dinners with both or one side of our family each weekend. We come out and support each other's endeavors. Most recently we shared a combined family vacation to Aruba!
Lifestyle
We were both raised Christian and practice at a local Lutheran church. We occasionally attend mass but live trying to be good people and put good into the world. Any child we have the blessing to raise would be able to participate with us!
We both work locally. Andrew is a Vice President of a finance company and Courtney is an ICU nurse at a local hospital. Our plan is to have Courtney stay at home when we have children.
When we aren't working we are active! Andrew is an avid baseball player, he still plays in an adult league, and loves to golf. Courtney enjoys paddle boarding on the ocean or the many lakes in town. We love to relax and read on the beach. When the weather turns, we ski and snowboard! We look forward to exploring the interests of future children.
We also enjoy cooking new recipes and trying new restaurants. On our vacations we have traveled to many countries. Exploring new cultures and opening our minds across the globe is very important to us.
Adoption
We look forward to sharing photos, emails, and letters as our family grows! It's important to us that you know your baby is growing up safe and well loved. We are so lucky to be considered as a prospective adoptive parent to your child.
