Coreen & Joshua
| Our Story |
|
Believe it or not, we met through Match.com. The story goes like this… I, Coreen, have a close friend who had just broken up with her boyfriend. She found out he was on Match.com and we decided to spy on him. Childish? Yes… but I was much younger then. So, I made a profile and got a little overwhelmed by the responses. I decided to choose one guy and delete my profile. I chose Josh. Josh and I like to joke that if it wasn’t for my friend’s jealousy, we would have never found each other.
We fell for each other right away. The wonderfully comfortable feeling we had was such an unexpected, yet welcomed surprise. We dated for a year and a half before getting engaged and then we were engaged for another year and a half. We have been married for over 4 years. Our love grows and surprises us each and every day. We are each other’s strength. We are each other’s comfort. We are a cheesy 1980’s love ballad. What can we say, we make a great love story together.

| Family Life |
|
We are lucky to like a lot of the same things in life. Same food, wine, shows, people. Well, maybe not all food. Josh still needs to try more vegetables!
Holidays are big with us. We love birthdays, Halloween, Christmas, any holiday that brings family and friends together. We also have an adorable hairless sphinx kitty named Levi who is a sweet heart. Our families are very supportive, and we have an abundance of loving friends. We do believe in having faith, having an open heart, and having the wisdom to allow fate to do its job. We hope to grow our own family with love, honesty, laughter, and lots and lots of hugs and kisses. |

| Life Style |
|
We like riding our bikes, going on fun vacations and to ballgames, exploring wineries and attending local art galleries. We both have creative careers and try to keep that focus in our personal lives as well. While Josh works among artists and producers at his company, he also dabbles in photography. I teach pilates and dance, and work with children of all ages at my dance school. Dance is a huge part of our lives. Josh and I even learned ballroom dancing for our wedding.
We enjoy living in an ethnically diverse community full of art, culture and individuality. We make regular trips to the boardwalk and really enjoy the fresh ocean air. Josh’s brother and wife just moved into our neighboring town and it’s nice to have family so close to grow up with our future family member!

| Adoption |
We are thrilled to expand our family through adoption. We are hoping for a healthy baby, younger than 3 months. We are very open to all ethnicities and are comfortable with family contact such as letters, pictures, annual visits (if you wish). Josh takes great photos, so we will never be at a loss for material. We both plan to take time off work in the beginning. Josh will then go back to work and I will remain home for a few months. Eventually, we plan on having child care at home and at my own dance school when I return to part-time work. |

We already love this baby. We have loved her in our dreams, in our hearts, and in our prayers. We just haven’t met him yet.
