Emil and I met at work twelve years ago. It sounds crazy, but we truly believe it was love at first site. There is an old saying that “every pot has its lid”…well that is true for us. Together we enjoy traveling, the beach, dinners out and spending time with family and friends. On a beautiful Friday evening in October 2002, we said our vows at sunset surrounded by family and friends.

Married life has been wonderful. Together, with lots of love, hard work and good times, we’ve created our little nest. Doing most of the work ourselves, we put an addition on our home, putting Emil’s skills to work! The addition was accomplished with help from our fathers, brothers, cousins, sisters and good friends. Four years ago we decided to add to our little family, welcoming an adorable dog named Stella. She is a Cocker Spaniel/King Charles mix. She has been an amazing addition to our family. The unconditional love she gives us makes us smile every day. She loves digging in the sand and playing in the snow.
We both enjoy skiing, snowboarding, surfing, going to the beach, kayaking, fishing and spending time with family and friends. We also love to travel and are fortunate enough to get away 2-3 times a year. We have been to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Cabo, Lake Tahoe, British Columbia, just to name a few. We can’t wait to introduce our child to our passions and show them the world. Amber’s family is only two hours away in Pennsylvania and we are surrounded by Emil’s family. Both our parents instilled in us the importance of family and they are excited to be first time grandparents! We live in a safe, residential neighborhood, where children play outside all the time. There is a playground two blocks away and the bay is less than a five minute ride. Summer days are spent on our boat. Those days are spent relaxing, swimming, clamming and stand up paddle boarding. It’s another pass time we can’t wait to share with our child. Emil grew up on the water; his dad showing him the ropes about boating and fishing and Emil can’t wait to do the same for our lucky child. As for me (Amber) I just can’t wait to love my baby. I look forward to nights, rocking him or her to sleep…to reading bedtime stories. We look forward to helping him or her with homework and can’t wait to cheer our son or daughter (or both) at whatever activity they decide they love.
Our home is a warm and welcoming place and everyone says there is a sense of love and happiness there. We host the annual family holiday party every year for over 60 family and friends. We have a big back yard with room to run and play, and can’t wait to do so! We can’t wait to have our child play with his or her many cousins. Amber’s 2 year old Godson, Ryan, cannot wait to meet his new best friend! |
We are already an amazing family, but we want to be a mom and dad. We want our child to have all the experiences and love we had growing up. We want to provide a child with many fun memories and a solid sense of home and security. We promise you that we can, and WILL provide your child with a lifetime of love and happiness. We want you to be part of your child’s story. We are open to writing letters, sending pictures and having yearly visits. We will respect your wishes and be forever grateful for the decision you have made!
